I think it was a rennant concoction. I loved it as a child. I had friends that called it Danish desert. It came in a box like jello or pudding.

Banana Junket Rennet Custard was one of my favorite childhood desserts. YUM!

About 20 years ago, my husband and I had the most amazing experience. We stayed at his former student's estate outside of Glasgow Scotland. I needed my handbag, which I had left upstairs in the bedroom where we were staying. I said I needed my purse and my husband's former student said he'd get it for me. When he returned he had gone into my handbag and returned with my wallet...to him a purse. I said nothing and later went upstairs for my handbag.
