It's that time of year again

My husband's bowling league is back in the alley. He's a fanatic and has been in this league for probably 10 years or more.

He's a very easygoing guy and rarely fusses at me about meals and is more than happy to scrounge up something to eat if I don't feel like making dinner. BUT..woe betide me if I don't have something ready for him in the time between when he gets home from work and the time he has to leave for the bowling alley.

It kind of tickles me that he's that devoted to his one hobby. He LOVES bowling and so does our son and they both bowl on the same team. He doesn't get discouraged by bad scores; he always thinks, next week is another week.

And I make sure I DO have his dinner ready when he gets home. It doesn't have to be anything elaborate; a sandwich and something to drink will do. But it better be ready to eat when he walks in the door or there is a black cloud over the house. Once in a while I do slip up but hardly ever, since it's really important to him.
