It's that time again that I dread

Killinger supposedly kicked off Christmas in July last night. I can't think of anything I avoid more than that. Not even the recliner chair tsv or the exercise equipment. However, this year I am embracing it. I seem to have been on a spending spree the last few months for clothes and beauty products. This Christmas surge frees me from purchases or from going on line to look for bargains and clearances. Yay! No temptations. Meanwhile, I am clearing my closets out of things I have had way too long and donating them to charitable institutions. There is no sense holding on to some things I have only worn once in the last 15 or 20 years. So carry on, Christmas devotees. My pocketbook will get a reprieve.

I enjoy Christmas in July. Some will, some won't. But, that holds for all the programming.

I could live without some of the, often repeated products, too, but would never want enthusiasts to be denied their favorites.

Some like it and others don't........it is what it is. I don't mind it at all, to me it is a nice change of pace from many other products that I don't enjoy. I don't complain much about the programming as I'm not in control of it. Even though some days for me are a total snooze fest, LOL! I switch between the Q and HSN, usually I find something I like but if not, I'll put some music on in the background. As a matter of fact I have HSN on now with Marla Wynne since ITKWD is selling gourmet Christmas! yay.

I hear ya. I'm 'in the same boat '. The past few months (actually more than just a few) I spent way out of my budget, mostly on fashion and beauty. Today marks day 13 of my spending moratorium. Christmas in June and July is helpful to keep me on track.
