Think it's supposed to move on through. 34 degrees.
Easter was yesterday. When I was a kid, I remember one Easter, in my Easter dress, it was almost unbearable heat. Today.............we have snow. I think our planet has jumped its axis.

Mother Nature is ticked off at all of us because very darn few respect her.

We had snow yesterday, Easter Sunday. There was a time we couldn't see across the street. Luckily, most of it is gone this morning.

Climate change is forcing us to live with extremes in our weather. Whatever weather was typical in a locale, it is now defined by extremes of that weather.
Here in the Southwest we are losing our water supply, temperatures are soaring, and winds are howling. I fear we have done irreparable damage to our planet.

Same here in Northeastern Indiana. It's starting to look pretty white out there. BRRRR. I can't get warm!

@qualitygal April IS the cruelest month - teases us with spring.
From sometime in my childhood, I remember an April snowstorm that left us with a few hours of a snow deep enough to come almost to our porch banisters. That porch was 4 steps off the ground.

It was a beautifully sunny Easter weekend in Ct, though yesterday was a bit breezy cool, we still did an Easter egg hunt for the kids just fine. Friday was beautifully sunny and warm.
I heard some parts of Northwestern Ct. (I'm along Southern Ct shoreline) may get snow today or tonight.
Like @millieshops I recall an Easter in mid April as a child when we got a full blown blizzard on Easter. That's the last time I recall it being that extreme. Here in the Northeast we are used to early spring being a tease...one day warm/sunny/flowers blooming, another may be a rare snow dusting, or several very windy days, rain. Usually if there's one final "blizzard" it's in March.
Our Spring always is "sorting itself out" early on, for as long as I've been alive it's how I remember it. In some recent years, we kind of skipped over spring, going from cold throughout March/April, into May, iffy precipitation throughout, then straight into summer. But last year we had a full out beautiful Spring like I recall growing up with.
I never really expect full blown Spring until about mid May here, which kind of goes along with planting zone advised for CT..."after Mother's day."

We have a winter storm watch for today in upstate NY. April has never been a good month for us, you never know what you are going to get. We have been known to get snow on mothers day a few times.
