It's hard to understand some people

Several times I have done something nice for neighbors or friends. They always seem to call and thank my DH for the kindness. I made a meal for a family where the H got hurt and the wife worked. My DH got thanked repeatedly and they never said a word to me. The wife even called and asked me to thank my DH! Recently I made some fancy food which a neighbor really admired. So I made some for them. Same story DH got all the thanks. I did get a request (to my DH) for the recipe, although they knew I made it. Hmm I think I lost that recipe...........
