You brought back memories, I too, had a big crush on Richard Chamberlain as Dr Kildare.

What does Richard Chamberlian have to do with this post?

It doesn't. However, someone made a comment about crying over a NCIS episode which was a tribute to David McCallum who has passed away.  This triggered the segway to Richard Chamberlain by another poster as both were popular actors during the 60s. Just free flowing thought. @goldensrbest

I believe @ECBG was responding to @AuntG 's post about crying over the recent episode of NCIS where an actor died in real life and how they wrote it into the show.

@ECBG was saying that the actor (David McCallum-the recently deceased NCIS character) was a major crush of her's along with Richard Chamberlain when she was young.

Posters on this thread are relating to all kinds of different things that have made them cry, be it movies, tv shows, greeting cards, etc.

Hope that explains it.

I'm sure @ECBG would correct me g e n t l y, if I'm wrong about this.  As I find her to be a kind poster here on these forums and sadly, if I remember correctly, she also lost a son at the young age of 19 in an automobile accident.

Sometimes I cry over nothing it seems. Or when I think about family and friends that are gone. When my Mom was alive and they would give me a sweet touching card it would make me cry.

I understand crying over a difficult health issue but why tears over a birthday?

I didn't say it was because of her birthday.
