Today was the hottest day this early in Summer here in St. Louis in 71 yrs. I believe the weatherman said It's also the hottest day ever @ 103 !  What's it like where you are ?  It's suppose to storm overnight but we are getting a little rain now, bringing the temp down now to 83. Big cool down  right ?

Woman LOL  Stay cool everyone

It was only 110 degrees with about 35 percent humidity which isn't too bad for us at this time of year (June can reach over 120 degrees here).
Stay safe, cool and hydrated everyone. Run errands and do light yard work in the early mornings and pray for October to get here. ❤️

The hotter the better for me! LOVE the heat, and yes, even the humidity. We are boat people and live out on our boat during our gorgeous Michigan Summers! Can'r get enough! Bring it on!

@Flying Dove

What???  Has it ever been that hot in Kansas?

Our Trane air conditioner is 24 years old this year.  So far so good but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it makes it through another summer. High of 98 today🥵

@ID2

That's amazing. I would love to be able to tolerate and even like the heat.  That would come in handy living in Texas.

It's hot here in SC and very humid. Our farmers are just harvesting their fields and the heat on top of no rain is hitting them hard. I expect us to have heat (never could understand anyone wanting to visit here when the temps are in the mid-90s, with the humidity at the same levels), but day after day of endless heat (already in the 80s at 5 AM, in the high 80s at 10 PM) always gets to me. This is normal summer weather for us but we usually get a couple reprieves every few days and that helps. My morning and evening prayers always include mention of some relief from the heat and some nice rainfalls.

@ID2   Only because you said you love this heat I wish we could bundle up our heat and send it your way. This extreme heat is very dangerous for lots of folks. I cannot  begin to fathom how people who work on the roads and highways survive this. My heart goes out to those who are suffering with the heat and have no air conditioning.

@ID2 I'm with you! I'll take the heat over the cold any day. We spend a lot of time outdoors, here in DC there are always so many great things to do. The only thing I don't enjoy is waking up before dawn to get my run in before sunrise, I'm not a complete idiot.😂

Here in Texas it was 99 and heat index was 105; should be the same or hotter the next week or so. No rain. It's summer for sure.
