I got a fan over my bed. Have to pull up a sheet later on in the night or turn fan off.

Remember to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, and stay inside from 11 am to November 2.

Woman LOL

I actually don't mind the heat, I hate when humidity is low. It's like a furnace heat.  I like to feel some moisture!  I know that's not a common complaint!

Hi, @Kachina624 !  I have to agree!  We're actually in Henderson outside Vegas and it is STUPID HOT.  Supposed to be 119 on Sunday.  Fortunately our solar installation was approved to go live today and we'll be flipping the switch tomorrow.  Cost should go down to 1/3 of what we'd pay the utility for power through the grid at current rates, which seem to increase quarterly.  Really so dumb to rely on power from Hoover Dam with Lake Mead low on water when we have endless sunshine.

@Kachina624 , I can't even imagine.  I am sure no one cooks in that heat.  For us this summer so far it is rain, rain, rain.  After the wildfires, no one here is complaining...or at least not as loud.

@Kachina624. When it is so hot there do you have what we on the north shore call brown outs?  It's when the electric  grid gets overloaded and nothing works at full power.   If so does that happen often?  Something else I need to think about

It's not a big deal to us. Summers here in Arizona are always hot. Some summers are hotter than others. Thank goodness for solar panels.
