Sunday is the first day of spring and where I live (NYC) we are suppose to get SNOW!!! Now it's not suppose to be that much, but REALLY!! I just may have to dig out my shovel, salt, gloves, and hat for shoveling on Sunday morning!

Hi @Jordan2 ....  I live in NJ.   My Dad's birthday was on March 20th.  One year .... when I was a kid.. we had the worst snow storm of the year on his birthday.  That has always stuck in my mind.  So it can and does happen in March.  LOL

I remember an Easter Sunday that was in early April, and it snowed!

In upstate NY, it's not all that unusual to get snow on MOTHER'S DAY!

Weather does not follow the calendar. 

I live in upstate NY; we have had snow in May.  Not often though.  April is common.

Spring doesn't mean no snow, I've gotten snowed on when camping in June.

March is the month for some heavy snowfalls. I don't think of Spring until May, to be honest.

My golf club opened last week, got to golf on Friday, not since, too cold. Snow here today and tomorrow. I remember my first year here, it snowed 18" on May 2nd. But the good news was that it melted quickly! At least we're not in October looking ahead to a cold and bitter winter!

I just read this earlier today. I do not miss that at all. I lived in Buffalo and remember getting snow on Easter and Mothers Day. That is too late in my opinion. lol!

I now live in Raleigh and today it cooled down. It was 76 here as it has been in the low 80s all week.
