Have you ever seen a lenticular cloud?  The form over mountains and often take the shapes of UFOs.  I've heard some heated arguments among "believers".  They are rather rare.

They are beautiful clouds! Thank you for posting with that clear blue sky of New Mexico.

We get lenticular clouds quite a bit on our various Cascade Mountain peaks here in Washington State. Mount Rainer and Mount Baker in particular. Always a beautiful sight.

I have seen them in Arizona too.  First time I did wonder???
