It is always nice to read a post filled with optimism and happiness.  I remember when I retired I wished for good mental and physical health so that I could enjoy my free time after 41 years of work.  For me good health is the key.  

 

Thanks for the spirit lifting post , Goodie2shoes. May you have many days ahead filled with blessings, good health and peace of mind!!!  Happy retirement and thank you also for your years of dedication to helping others.

@Goodie2shoes   Glad for you, but my Irish mothers would have crossed herself and said "God save the mark" to ward off jealous spirits who may be listening.
