There are plenty of bees and wasps around my house here in Dallas! The heat hasn't driven them away.

I've done two "tours of duty" here in DFW totaling 30 years. Decided to stay another 2 years and then I'm relocating - planning has already commenced....

The Wicks are looking forward to a reprieve in August when we go to Eagle River, WI to visit our besties.  At least we hope it will be a reprieve.

Yep, I think most of the wasps in Texas are hanging near my front door waiting to sneak in to take advantage of my A/C even if its set on 78 or 80....And a couple of the little buggers have managed to sneak inside, but I guided them back outside with a broom....I dont want to spray insecticide inside or even outside of my home....

@Spurt  One thing  that has helped with the wasps and bees around my front door: painting the front porch ceiling "haint blue." The critters think it's the sky and they won't gather to build nests or even fly around. I've noticed a difference since painting the porch ceiling about a month ago.
