Re: It's Finally Window Weather

@ScrapHappy

Mr ScrapHappy can put a sweater on or wrap up in a blanket.  I told my husband I Iive thru 9 months of insufferable heat to look forward to 3 months of cold (+/-).  Put a coat on.  I love opening up the house for fresh air too. It's 73 degrees (at the thermostat, probably cooler in my bedroom) and indoor humidity is 33%. Outside, the humidity is 21%.  OMGoodness!  I could live like this year around.

Sounds like the humidity is low tho, right?  I could handle 90-100 a whole lot better if the humidity was desert-like.  In the tropics of east Texas, it's HUMID.

Re: It's Finally Window Weather

@monicakm    We are in an agricultural area so it's more humid than one would expect...especially from July-Sept. However, we are fortunate because we only have 70-85% humidity during those months. That said, our temperatures reach to 120° during our summers. Our winters, though short-lived, are beautiful!

Mine was open that same night here in NE Texas.  Next morning I remembered the high ragweed count so last night I kept it closed.  But no heat or air conditioner was needed after I turned off the lights.  Next week will be 24/7 air running again night and day.

My North window is still open from night before last but I'll be closing it in just a little while. High temperature today is supposed to be 78. Current humidity is 33% 🤗  and yep, high temperatures prevail next week. Unless they don't. The forecast seems to change every few minutes.
