So fellow posters, I'm in Spokane. We've got probably 8 inches or so, of snow, on the ground; was down to 5 degrees last night, but, now, it's a balmy 19!

Come for a visit. Dress warmly. But, I promise, no Alligators!

I live in central NY.   Little wind today for a change and we got up to a warm 21 today.  No snow as they had predicted for us.  So far the snow predictions have all been wrong this year.  I got a new special snow shovel for Christmas.  It is right yellow and has a curved handle.  My son said that you drag it and dump.  No lifting.  My lesson on grass do not sink in.  I am waiting for about 6" of snow so I can learn to use it.  Then the snow can melt.  I love how it makes the landscape a beautiful clean white picture but not on the roads and my long driveway.  In my 72 years I only remember 2 hurricanes .  My area has been safe from most of nature's rath.

My daughter showed me those funny toons the other day. My face hurts too. I live about an hour NE of you. This morning -13 at my house.
