Snowing like a bat out of hell , 18 plus .

Here in central Long Island, New York we only got about 2 inches. Most of it only stuck to the cars & grass.It took my son an extra 45 minutes to get to work today.

It does look like Christmas card here.  I'm looking out the window and the trees and grass are covered in puffy white snow.  The snow is still falling.  It's lovely when you don't have to worry about shoveling or town plowing.  The good part about condo living.  The shovelers and plows were out all night long.  Hubby said when he left at 6am the steps, walkways and road here were down to the pavement.  They even shoveled out the cars!  Which he really appreciated.  They don't usually do that.

The first snow of the season is always fun.  Wears thin pretty quickly though!!

We were supposed to get 3 to 5 inches of snow yesterday here where I live in PA. It ended up that we got a coating on the deck and grass in the early morning, and then it stopped. Up north of here got hammered. Im glad we didnt because I had an important Dr appt yesteday afternoon.

Snow days were always days for baking.
