@ID2   Me too with the sun glasses but I'm sort of light-sensitive so I always wear sun glasses even if it's a bit cloudy out.

Good luck with your surgeries altho you don't need it - it's miracle surgery.  Don't listen to the negatives - it's wonderful.  

I was awake and sitting up when I had my surgery - just a local anaesthetic altho mine was laser surgery.

Hope your eye surgery goes well, My 82 year old sister who still drives well, just had both her eyes done at once.  She paid extra to have her correction lenses put in for the lens. I don't know how they do it, but she can see better and clearly now with no problems.  She had to have assistance for 24 or 48 hours and leave the eye patches on and once off did wonderful.  New tecnology is amazing.
