And I thought it was because I deep soaked my young tree all night. It's been so long that my dogs barked at the thunder. They say an El Niño is forming and we ought to have a good monsoon, as well as a wetter winter. We'll see.

I sure hope so. I do love rain in the desert. I went outside with the dog this morning and it's gorgeous out there. This is good news for my roses after our recent warm spell.

And my car's filthy again, of course!
