Re: It Didn't Take Long For O.J. To Misbehave

@september

I cannot even imagine. So tragic.

DH was the captain of that flight. Since this was before 9-11 he could leave the cockpit after flight (other than to go to the bathroom!).

He came to my my seat to see me and ask if I was okay (very nervous flyer here) and as soon as OJ saw DH he stood up, speaking so loudly, trying to schmooz to the Captain. It was embarrassing to watch. Of course DH had the passenger manifest. He knew he was there and where he was.

Captain said, “Sir, I am going to have to ask you to lower your voice for the comfort of the passengers and crew.”

It took Capt. a few tries. OJ finally sat down. When DH returned to cockpit OJ started up again. The cabin crew battled with him most of the flight.

@BirdieGal. Wow...it seems he thought the world revolved around him.   I would guess a lot of talented athletes have this attitude, but most don't commit horrid crimes and come under the microscope like this.

That is exactly how he behaved. It was disturbing to watch. I had my row to myself and had started out in the aisle seat. I soon moved to the window seat. Ugh!

No, they are much too smart. He said he has received tons of fan mail and support from a group in your town in Pennsylvania.

Re: It Didn't Take Long For O.J. To Misbehave

My understanding is that former offenders are required to meet regularly with parole officers and undergo drug/alcohol testing while out on parole to ensure they're complyiing with the terms of their parole. They must comply with the terms of their parole or face a return to prison. I don't know what the terms of OJ's parole were, but I'm guessing damaging a bar in Las Vegas while intoxicated is pushing his luck a lot.

That Vegas hotel has banned him. They don't need money that bad I guess.

With all the allegations in the news today how long will it be before we hear women accusing him of inappropriate behavior ?

        Just like a child...any attention is better than no attention....even negative attention!!  He should have never been let out of jail!  Am hoping he violates his parole and back he goes.   But, maybe they don't want him there either!!!
