Re: Is this beautiful, or what?

I have my doubts if this picture is real. The picture is beautiful but more like a doll.

Except for the bright eyes, it does not seem to have "life" to it. A beauty real or not.

There are no words...the emerald green eyes with the chocolate skin is an enchanting combination: Here's another photo but the coloration is different.  These eyes do not look like real eye color.

She is adorable, no matter what.

In the first photo she obviously has lipstick and eyeliner on.  Children are naturally beautiful, she needs no enhancement.

Re: Is this beautiful, or what?

Yes, Beautiful indeed.  Photoshopped at the least.  It's the exact same picture, one with green eyes, one with blue.  Make-up  for sure.  My first impression was she was a flower girl or the like.  It would explain the make-up and hair-do.  Upon closer inspection her eyes are shiny, but do not seem moist.  Glass eyes.  She looks more like an exquisite doll to me.  But, yes she is beautiful to my eye.

Re: Is this beautiful, or what?

After googling, this child's picture turned up in a line up of photos of a tribe of people in Africa with blue or green eyes.

Apparently, green or blue eyes is a genetic mutation in all humans where the gene that colors the iris is turned off, resulting in blue/green eyes. Both my parents and grandparents on both sides were all brown eyed. My sisters and I are blue and green eyed - gotta love mom nature Smiley Happy

@bmorechick

Your parents probably both had the recessive gene for blue or green eyes.  All it takes is two people with a match.

I've read a couple of anthropology reports that said all blue eyed people came from one person long ago with the mutation, so everyone with blue eyes is related way back.

Re: Is this beautiful, or what?

My daughter and I both have olive green eyes with like a burnt orange burst around the pupil.  A hazel combo, apparently.

I wonder if that's unusual?  Does anyone else here have that color?

[ Edited ]

Here is the photo I found. Clearly, color was manipulated -- perhaps contacts put in -- and makeup applied.  And look at the more natural graininess of the skin (pores) compared to the porcelain-like faces in the other two photos.
