Is there a way to find out what companies make what?

Does Avon make their own cosmetics and creams or do they hire out? Would they make other makeup for companies? I wonder how much better Origins liner is from Avon's liner? I know I have always thought Avon was cheap stuff........I know their kitchen things don't last the way the should.......forget buying the French Press for Coffee. Horrible..........I just threw it away and I am giving the glass container to my friend........anyway

I know there can't be hundreds of cosmetic companies. I know that Alburto Culver makes secents for Victoria's Secret. Well, it is Unleiver now.
