The grocery store is by far one of my husband's favorite places. He can't be trusted. While he gets everything on my list, he also brings home; donuts, cookies, cake mixes, candy, ice cream and snack food. All stuff neither one of need to eat, especially him being diabetic.
He get annoyed with me if I don't eat the stuff and whines "Well I was thinking of you when I bought this". Yeah right. Obviously not thinking of all the times I moan and groan about needing to lose some weight. Honestly, I think he does it on purpose. I get him though. I will let the stuff sit there and go stale and eventually pitch it.

Washing the kitchen floor. I've tried many contraptions, but the only way to get it really clean is on hands and knees. My back still aches by the time I have to do it again.

@Allegheny Men! I guess there must be some psychology going on there, but I'm not sure what it is! I think maybe he really wants it for himself, but after he brings it home, he feels too guilty to eat it in front of you!

@Annabellethecat66, I too have to shop alone. The rare occassions I let hubby go with me, he's like a kid. He disappears the minute we hit the store and when my back is turned he loads the cart with his "good stuff." But worse than that, he hides it under what's there so I don't see it until it's making its way down the conveyor belt. His shopping days are over.
@Zhills, @Catlady Nicole, I am at the point where I think I will have them delivered. Unfortunately my Walmart doesn't carry food, but another major grocery chain by me has recently started home delivery. Life is too short to hassle with stuff we don't like!
@2blonde, I'll gladly come clean your house! And I'm good at it. And btw, every single person at Home Depot calls my husband by his first name when he comes in! Kinda like Norm at Cheers.
@deepwaterdotter, A few years ago I discovered Easy-Off Fume Free. Cleans the oven without turning it on! It does a fabulous job. I have an electric self cleaning oven, but I hate having it get that hot for so long so the Easy-Off has been a blessing.
@cottonball, I have an Oreck that must be about 25 years old that I got as a TSV on the Q. That darn thing just does a fabulous job and is only 8 pounds! The only thing that's ever been replaced is vacuum bags!
@Lucky Dog, I'm with @Imaoldhippie 100%! This gal sorta rolls those fitted sheets up and sticks them in the linen closet. I don't know how my late beloved MIL got them folded so neatly, but I don't have the patience for fighting with sheets and losing!

@Its Me LuLuBelle2 Your post made me laugh. Whenever I send my husband to the grocery store for something I’ve run out of or forgot (I would never trust him with the weekly grocery shopping!), I will specifically write down what it is, the brand and size and he will inevitably come home with something twice the size (“I might need more”) or it is diet (he didn’t notice) or something totally different (he couldn’t find what I wanted so he got that instead). I’ve given up sending him to the grocery store.
To answer your question I loathe cleaning the bathroom because it is such a job to clean the shower!

I really hate going to the grocery store. I hate cooking just as much. Thank goodness hubby likes to cook and go to the grocery store! However, when he's out of town for work, I'm in trouble!

Grocery shopping too so Love ordering online...I'm not tempted to buy what I don't need, easy to use digital coupons, free items for using the service, extra gas points & no charge for pick-up on Wednesdays. That's today so at 5 I'll head out with an iced tea, go to a nearby lake to watch the birds, boats & walk in the water THEN pickup my groceries...time well spent.

@RainCityWoman, @itsmagic, We have super hard water loaded with iron. Despite having a water softener and some gizmo that removes some of the iron, cleaning the shower used to be a chore. My tiles in both bathrooms are white. Many years ago I bought a squeegee and after each and every shower I squeegee the walls down and dry them with a towel. It takes just a matter of minutes. I then use a daily shower spray. It turns out those couple of minutes spent after taking showers has been a lifesaver for me. The tiles and grout are clean and stay clean and I no longer spend a ton of time cleaning them once or twice a week.
