Is it safe to buy made in China items?

Has anyone heard any fact based recommendations on this topic. So many items on QVC including Honora are made in China given the properties of the virus is it safe. Such confusing times. Thank you.

Have you seen the statistics in U.S.A.?

Anything I buy, even from my local neighborhood grocery store, I wipe down before I bring it in my house and use it.

The virus can only live so long--and certainly not all the way from China!

I don't know, but at this point I will not buy anything made in China if I can help it.

Now, it is safe to buy china items because the conditions have changed in China. China is known as a big market where I know one of the most famous wholesale suppliers of promotional products that is PapaChina. There, you can readily buy your desiring products at a reasonable price with the customization option.

I changed how I buy years ago. I never buy anything made in China. I read, read, read the country of origin when buying something. When it comes to clothing, its a pretty difficult task finding things NOT made in China. But I've found several brands at my local boutiques that I buy.

As safe as buying anything made in the U.S., which has the most confirmed cases by far, or Spain, or Italy or France or Germany which are next in desceding order of confirmed cases.

I'd try to avoid "made in China" (or, in QVC-speak, "imported").  But if you must, be sure to launder it well or clean thoroughly with an antiseptiic wipe.

Honora items have probably been stored in Q's warehouse before any outbreak.

@RaminehI'm not a scientist, but personally if I were worried about viral transmission, I'd be way more concerned about my local delivery systems than about where any item was manufactured.

I think anything made in China weeks or months ago is safe from CV by the time it reaches here.  What it may not be safe from might well be someone working in a warehouse in Tennessee or a trucker from Michigan or a supermarket worker from New Jersey, etc.
