Personally, I support and don't mock. I joined the boards right before the big change, so I don't have the longevity of many but I did see enough to get a flavor of the contentiousness.

Pray tell, as I have no idea @lulu2, what are the changes you portend?

No ... definitely NOT better ...    Oh, they've added all these cutesy features to make you feel you are personally part of a nice little community  ... all the s and "contributor" rankings, but those additives are meant to hold you in line. 

What you do have is a very sanitized board ... devoid of any substantive issues ... and an IN YOUR FACE moderation that is beyond the pale.  I now very rarely participate in any meaningful topic because I just know it's going to be deleted ... one way or the other.

Exactly.  It's sad when posters think it's something special that a thread stayed up overnight before being deleted.

So very sorry.  Didn't mean to be rude, spent 9 very busy hours at the office then came home and helped move hay bales and filled up the horses' water troughs.

Thank you all for your replies.  I just cannot believe how much better the board looks compared to the first few days when everything seemed so wacky.  Now posting seems much like before.
