I was also surprised today to see the "ink blot."  That was a big blast from the past - I wouldn't have thought anyone still used them.

Re: Is it just me???

[ Edited ]

@hsawaknow No way is it just you... I haven't been much of a QVC shopper or viewer now for several years precisely because I got tired of the repetition and lack of variety and at no time is it more obvious than during the holiday shopping season. They've been selling virtually the same type of largely boring merchandise via the incessant 'generic' gift shows now for the better part of the last decade... I just gave up... The same stuff different day... year... and so on just ran its course...

The stuff that's being called "gifts" is just the same boring old items that are left over in the warehouse, that the Q wants to unload. JMHO.

Agree, but why watch? It’s an infomercial channel!

Those are practical useful gifts that probably sell well and they are a business wanting to make money.  There probably are not that many different unique things out there to present either.

Yeah, they've lost me until December 26th. I cannot watch the endless parade of flashlights, shredders, screwdrivers, charging stations, phone soap, grocery totes, collapsible anything's. You get the idea.

Not just you.  As soon as they start endless hours of "Great Gifts" and "Practical Presents", I'm done with them till February.  After Dec 26, QVC starts their "New Year, New You" programming with diet foods and exercise equipment throughtout January.

For those of you who like the miscellaneous gifty type things, I'm happy for you.  Enjoy!

I think that for those of us who have been watching for many years, it is the SOSO.  But if you're a new viewer, you may be excited by what is presented just as I was when I first started watching 20+ years ago.

Shredders, flashlights, and other nonsense are not gifts to me.

I'm also done watching until February, when they begin showing new clothing, accessories, and decor for spring.
