It was in the low 90's all day here in PA.  I sat outside under our awning and enjoyed the day.  I like the heat, but stay out of the sun.

My husband and the dogs stayed inside enjoying the AC.

We were planning on taking our boat out on the water, but my husband is having problems with AFib and a fast heart rate.  It's out of control, so I decided we were staying put in case it turns into an emergency sitution.

111° here, however, for my area this is normal for this time of year. I am so very sorry for all who are suffering the unusual hot weather in their areas!

Please stay safe and make sure pets are supervised when going outdoors for potty breaks as they have very few sweat glands and their body temps are already much higher than ours. Take care everyone! ❤️

We had your hot weather last week.  Now it has chilled down to the high 80s but the monsoon has returned  and the humidity is sky high.  It rarely rains more than a trace so we get no benefit and it's very dry and sticky.

I'd rather it be hotter and the air dry.

@TheWanderingOne   It has been unusually hot this summer in our area.

We're having a better summer in NOLA than last year, heat-wise.  Today our high was 95, but last year on this date we set a record with a temp of 105.  So that puts this year's more typical temperatures in the lower 90s in perspective.  Of course that humidity from the Gulf always makes it feel hotter. No cool weather here till November or December.  But from then until May we'll have really, really nice weather.  That's our outdoor time.

@Goodie2shoes  In SE MD it was about 90 today but the humidity was only 70% so it felt cooler.  Tomorrow hazy, hot, thick and humid. YES, YES, YES.  I want it to continue but sadly, next week the temps look like they will drop to low 80's and high. 70's.  Not ready for it and I wish fall/winter would go away for good around here.  However, I would have to relocate fo my HHH all year and I think we are rooted here for good 😊.

Yes! I'm in NC, so we're used to hot summers, of course, but last week we actually had a bit of a break- highs in low to mid 80s and lower humidity. It was great! This week, we're back to high 90s and terrible humidity. Oh well...

Today will be 95-100 in Jersey and index about 105!!
