Those few scientists who say our environment, our planet is not in danger are on the payrolls of the petroleum industry.
Surely you've seen the "I'm an energy voter" ads? It's not as subtle a jab at climate science as they think.
Treating our planet's plight as a conspiracy theory or a semantics question is endangering our economy, our environment, our security, our food sources and our children's future as a hoax is a political ploy.
Frankly, it embarrasses me that our country is about the only nation on earth to question the validity of the changes the earth is experiencing.

I think this post sounds very much like a political campaign message/ad.

I wish it were. It's astute and to the point.
Unfortunately, your post reminds us how partisan this issue has become. It wasn't always that way. But obstructionists -- those in the lap of energy lobbyists, those who reject any monies or actions because they reject funding just about everything, those who lack the foresight or who really just don't care to understand the science, and those who put their faith elsewhere -- have managed to distort the issue into an argument in which there are two equal sides.
There are not two equal sides.

In conclusion (LOL) I think no matter what one thinks or what respectful opposing opinion is presented we can all agree on one thing:
We EACH have to do our own environmental part in controlling Pollution, Climate problems, .....Endangering the planet in general. I hope all can agree on that LOL
Oh and as far as how I live? One phrase will fit "As Environmentally as the laws and cronies allow" Environmentally conscious, tiny house living, conservation is not new to us natives. (and ancestors were called "savages" ??? LOL) We worship the earth and the skys so we wouldnt think of ruining what we worshipped and still do.....but is too late. Ancestrors even hunted buffalo sustainably until the newcomer came and hunted them almost to extinction.....deforested the "New World" just like they did in Europe. Now the honey bee is on endangered list. No bee....no coffee, no fruit......no food. And clean water oh boy that will be a killer for sure. Noone and I mean noone needs to live in a 10,000 sq ft home. Was easy for me to live environmentally as I do not dwell in the city. Many places are "off grid" and is not as hard as one thinks. I tried a "rain catchment system" but here is regulated that one cannot do that. Have ived in a cooperative commune and they were well educated environmentalists...yet they called us hippys...LOL Nothing is un-doable.
Greed and consumption, fracking.....pollution is all interconnected in the web of destruction.
Hope all of us do some part in cleaning up the mess humans created...just start with one part. Is not "some elses job" Mother earth will fight back and purge itself of the destructive and invasive species. (humans) We have our warning.....can argue over semantics of cooling or warming, cow winds or whatever... what does that really matter when can check all of the above? I dont pay attention to fancy words but is only action that speaks louder. Maybe start with cow flatulence...sounds good to me (thumbs up) as those fast food joints are little huts of poison. Make a veggie burger or whatever but do something. ACKKKKKK! WHy argue over non-points or fine semantics.....thats a human flaw. Is not about being RIGHT or WRONG...is about DOING the right thing! I mean right???

Agree......I've always said this. It's cyclical. Go back and look at records set for both highs and lows. It's no different now that eons ago. Wish people wouldn't get so upset about this issue.

Denying Global Warming gives people permission to keep on destroying our planet......we take and take and take but put little to nothing back into the earth except waste and pollution. We have done more damage in the last 100-150 years than all of mankind ever did for thousands and thousands of years before us.

@Melania Sigh I give up...humans are in deep denial. As long as people "have theirs" and can live "thier life" nothing will change. Is just a matter of will we be extinct in 500 years...or less then 100 years. Their choice to do what is right for their children/grands.....or weep later. Sure the earth changes but so fast? NOPE!
