Is it a good idea to mention someone's "better" products?

I heard Patti R. refer to Dennis Basso's "couture" line on a show last night when discussing a coat. Something to the effect that this coat has what his "couture" line has.

I have also heard Lisa R. and maybe Judith Ripka herself mention her "other" line. I guess that means not done with sterling silver or Diamonique.

I think it sort of diminishes what you are showing at present to infer there's something "better" out there!
