Re: Is having a cellphone a top priority for you?

Probably most of the younger generation don't even have a land line, nor do they want one. A smartphone does it all and more.

it is true.....i cannot even think of one student in my childrens colleges that have an actual landline in their dorm rooms (or payphones either)......i would imagine that the vast majority had cell phones. if they didnt, then there were booths set up at orientation and move in so that the students could get cell phones. it is always nice to know that i can call and wake them up at 3am to check on them. For me yes, we have a new teenage driver and I feel better when I hear from a text that he reached his destination. He's not a big cell phone user in fact his friends text me to tell him to check his phone LOL!
