We have one more -18 or colder night and then up to almost 30 and snowy by Friday evening. We did peek above zero today for awhile. It was nice.

Yes, it finally warmed up nicely here today. It was cold this morning though. The temp in the truck this morning read 23 degrees.

It's 14. I just got in from shoveling and walking the dog.
It has finally stopped snowing...I am running out of places to put it!

Negative numbers will be gone after tomorrow. It wouldn't hurt my feelings if they didn't return this season.

It's up to 67 here in SE Florida but the heat is still on. It takes awhile for the house to warm up. I'm wearing socks and a long-sleeved T-shirt. Tomorrow it should be the usual warm, sunny Florida weather again. Today, we had rain most of the day. I love the cold weather and especially love rainy days.

Still -27 below here, and my dishwasher is frozen up. We leave a stream of water dripping in the sink as the town requires it, but apparently there was water in the dishwasher lines. Got a full load in there. Oh, well...I guess a little elbow grease is in order. Too bad it doesn't burn many calories!

When we lived in pa we had our kitchen remodeled and I wanted the sink to be under the window. My DH was concerned about it being cold there for the pipes to come up along that outside wall so the contractor brought the pipes inside the wall(since you can't see them under the sink anyway) and he put sheets of Styrofoam against the wall to additionally insulate under the sink and behind the dishwasher. No problem.
