I stopped watching QVC years ago except for a few specific things - like Christmas in July! That's the most I've watched QVC in years. I do my shopping on-line so I don't have to deal with hosts I don't like and the constant barrage of TSV sales. The same goes for the other shopping channels. The only one I might sit and watch mindlessly if nothing else is on is JTV because I like jewelry.
I've recently put the kabash to spending as much on all of the shopping channels.

Since they did away with InsideQ we don't get a heads up about upcoming TSVs until maybe a day ahead ( when I got the magazine I would know about many TSVs in advance). There is a Laura Geller TSV on I think August 21 and a Josie Maran one on August 24. It's not in my budget to buy both of them, it would be helpful to know the contents of each TSV. What usually happens is I pass up on one, then the other one I'm not interested in, and end up not getting either one.

I rarely watch any more, and rarely buy, though if I do it's IT Cosmetics. I got tired of the poor quality and inconsistent sizing, and paying $10-$12 to try something on. I have a few things left on easy pay and don't plan on buying anything once those are paid off.
The lack of variety has really decreased my interest. I used tto love watching IM and Dooney, and bought a lot from both, but there's nothing new and exciting now so i just look online. Nothing unique enough to make me part with my $$$.

I started watching the Q in 1995 -- and thru 2005, I purchased lots of gorgeous jewelry - 14KT and 18KT gold at LOW prices.
I've also bought many Northern Nights Sheet Sets, WrinkleDefense --- and many other products.
Now I buy an occasional D&C t-shirt/pants. I have a big walk-in closet and it's FULL.
A few weeks ago, I actually threw out 14 --- 25 yr old short-sleeved t-shirts (not bought at the Q). So - I now have a little more room for new tops. That's my weakness.
I live in Southern Calif. and I wear the same clothes all year round.

Started watching and shopping QVC in 1988. I continued until about 2004, never out of control but I had my favorites, such as Joan Rivers. Then one Joan visit she was telling an antidote concerning "can you believe my stuff is in Ebay?" ( a light went on, I checked EBay and...never looked back! Last year I bought not more than two items (Pollack), so yes I've changed the way I shop.

Used to buy when TV shopping was new. Too many other options online where I can find the same thing/similar cheaper and the item doesn't sit in "processing" forever and usually has free or shipping is less and also shows up at my door.
Clothes I buy locally where I can try them on, no S/H costs and they have real sales as opposed to what passes for one at QVC. Also, why would I buy clothes they send models out looking like clowns half the time? Clothes too tight, don't match and I swear now paired with things that don't even go together to get rid of an item they must have hundreds left in the warehouse. If they look bad on a model, why would I consider buying?
I've always been a kitchen gadget person and in past would have ITKWD on in the background. If I saw something I might like I'd go to Amazon or google where it often is less expensive, shipping less or free. These days I won't watch - the whole happydance/yum yum face is getting OLD. Forget food costs ---outrageously priced and there's not a lot of new stuff cuz now you often see a 45 minute presentation of the TSV which doesn't have anything to do with kitchen ideas.

Used to be a die hard viewer/buyer back in 90's, but very seldom make a purchase these days. I do not usually patronize online sites that do not offer discount coupons, free shipping/free returns. I am still a regular viewer of Q's garden and home decor shows. My last purchase was the anti-gravity patio chair. Shows I never watch are jewelry and beauty. Not the good old days any longer. Remember the QVC Local in 1995? Now that was the Q I loved!
