I'm watching some of it. Some of the scoring did seem unfair as pointed out.

On the Summer Olympics I don't even remember any events beside the swim racing and diving. So I don't find those at all interesting.

On the Winter Olympics, however, there are some sports that I enjoy. I like the figure skating (singles). I like the speed skating - wow, what athletes!. I like the ski jumping - how crazy is that? It's like they are flying! Love it.

The 'curling' thing is rather fascinating. I never think about it at all but if I happen to come across a match I cannot look away. It's kind of a shuffleboard type of sport, but on ice.

I don't care for any of the sled sports or really the cross-country type skiing event.

Well, I DID end up watching last nite as I really love snowboarding and downhill skiing. I don't really care that much what country wins, though, I just like to watch great athletes do their thing.

I don't think you're un-American at all. Some people (like me) are just not interested or have better things to do with their time.

When I heard that some of the countries actually pay their athletes if the score a medal...that just ticked me off a little. I thought these athletes were doing this for "their country" and not a cash reward?!

BTW, the United States is one of them that pays their athletes.

I used to enjoy watching them, but not so much the last few years. I don't know why.

I like to watch the individual and pair skating but don't always agree with the scoring. Wow, that 15 year old girl from Russia is awesome!!! Other than that I don't watch much of it. I'm not really into winter sports.

At this point I don't even know how many medals the United States has.
