No, we have never done that in my area, although it sounds very quaint. I am too much of a germophobe, I am not a big potluck person, unless I know the people who are participating and stll better their cleaning practices in their home. 

 

I remember two years ago at my job we had a catered Christmas Party. Some of us took left overs with us as were leaving. On the way back to the office, through the parking lot one of my co-workers dropped a food item in the nasty asphalt parking lot, and said its' ok, and picked it back up and put it back on her plate. WTH... From that moment on, she was marked in my brain to not ever eat anything that she brought to the office.

Ummm.... NO! Nothing has changed in this country! Covid-19 is still alive and well and spreading!  We are and will continue to social distance!

no in the past before now I heard my neighbors on occasion arguing over who ate who's food
