There really are unknowns still about this illness.
If the CDC went by guidelines telling Nurse #2 to fly to Ohio, then declared that an error, it's better to be safe than sorry.
My greatest fear is other travelers who come to this country sick in the first place after knowing they have been exposed to the ebola virus.

*sigh* A few topics have really hit home for me and I think it's best if I just stay out of this for a while. Between the euthanasia thread and now trying to wade through all the dreck about ebola, it's starting to drag me down.
There are only 2 posters I read for facts - Pit and Sushi. The rest has just been links with no explanation. At least Pit and Sushi explain things.
I'm sorry we got into a tussle over this; but it's been really hard reading insults just for asking questions.
I have no problem with some humor, and I have no problem with questions and answers from professional posters. The rest is just becoming a drag now, same things hashed over and over again and actually discussions get derailed with some of the satire and irony.
Have a good evening - I'm going to make some coffee.

Better to be safe than sorry or stupid like the nurse that flew with a fever.
