Is There A Way To Find Out When the next Ring2 TSV Will be Back?

I had to return the Ring 2 I'd bought as a TSV because it was going off every 2 hours (drove me crazy).

I have to get something for my garage door to know when packages are delivered.  I have one for my front door.

Is there a way to find out when the next TSV Ring 2 is going to be back?

I used to get a print out for what's on every day, every hour, for a month.  QVC no longer delivers them.

@Annabellethecat66...can't that item be purchased somewhere other than QVC?

There is also a program guide that can be accessed from the home page.

Amazon and Best Buy sells them.  QVC still has them listed in stock.

I believe i saw somewhere where HSN has one coming up as a TS soon but its a different configuration and is more expensive.  @Annabellethecat66. Do you have a doorbell at your garage?  You can get video cameras without the doorbell.  You can read the daily program guide by going to "shop QVC TV", then to "program guide" at the bottom of the list.

I have a ring and could not get it connected to my wireless.  I called the number for ring and they did not solve my problem.

Re: Is There A Way To Find Out When the next Ring2 TSV Will be Back?

@saltysails I never even attempted to connect them!  I'm lucky in that my son-in-law and grandkids have a degree in electrical engineering so he (son-in-law) does most things.  I give my phone to my grandchildren and they 'fix' it!  Ha!

But my secret weapon is one of my best friends. She's amazing.  She helps me with things around my house but she connected both rings......She had a little trouble, called them and got them connected.

Initially, like I said that ring2 worked good but I started having trouble with it so just to be sure she recharged the battery...it fixed it for a day or two but going off every two hours all through the night and day was the last straw!  I sent it back to QVC.

Now the one in the front says it's disconnected.  She'll be here tomorrow.  Hopefully, she can get that reconnected.  The only reason I'm not totally upset with it is because (like I said before) when Verizon came out and 'added' a booster to my internet perhaps that's what threw it off!

I think it's more of a gimmick than anything as I don't get many visitors.  Packages are delivered down at the garage door.

I've arranged to have the packages put into a large (kind of Tupperware box) but it helps when I can see the truck coming and they're in the box.

Because I live in a split foyer house, I wouldn't know when someone puts something in the box (at the garage).  The sound of the ring let's me know the truck has passed it and I can see it.

Re: Is There A Way To Find Out When the next Ring2 TSV Will be Back?

To everyone!  Thanks for your responses.  I did check with all that everyone listed.

When I can I like to buy from QVC if there isn't much difference in the money.  It's easy for me to send something back to QVC and they don't quibble at all.

Now before everyone says, "I send things back to Amazon, etc. and no trouble", I just don't want the hassel of dealing with it.  I just slap that QVC label back on (AFTER I've called CS) and I get the money back.

Obviously, I'm not in a big hurry but I will get another one.  I have so many other cameras around the house (inside and out) and ADT (large house with many windows and doors).

Again, thanks for taking the time to help me.  @Kachina624 I will look into that shop QVC TV.

@Annabellethecat66, since you apparently want the ring2 primarily to know when packages are delivered and not so much for security have you considered just simply registering for the free programs offered by UPS, FedEx and USPS and get email and/or text notifications that a package has been delivered?

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

Re: Is There A Way To Find Out When the next Ring2 TSV Will be Back?

@Marp Actually I did try (key word try) doing that but there were a few times when they'd be left on the front steps (easier for them) or I wouldn't get the messages.

I do get quite a few packages because I can't walk around in stores and everything gets delivered (especially cat food, toys, etc).

@Annabellethecat66

Amazon bought Ring in April.

Amazon may have Ring at a great price on Prime Day.
