I do get quite a few packages because I can't walk around in stores and everything gets delivered (especially cat food, toys, etc).

@Annabellethecat66. You and I are in the same boat. I also cannot stand long enough to browse stores so I have every earthly thing that's portable, delivered to me, 30lb bags of dog food for me....well, for the dogs but to me. I havent been to the nearby mall in years.

@Kachina624 Yes! We are lucky we live in a time when we CAN order so many things!

The teenager next door carries upstairs from the garage my cases of water and groceries I buy when I get the 4 heavy boxes of cat litter, the 5 CASES of water and on and on! Thank goodness he's in Community College and still living at home! I know he'll be around for at least another year! Even with that, I have to work around his social life and his girlfriend (who he doesn't realize but leads him around by his .....)

As you know @Kachina624 we do pay for this convenience and one side of my brain says, "Your lucky you can afford it" the other side says, "You do know you're paying...really paying for this".

It's crazy how much time I spend trying to make this 20 year old kid understand he needs to get out of Va, travel, do stuff while he's young. He's never been outside of Va (and even our area).

When he started high school I told him I'd pay for him to go to college if he made good grades and got there. He's never disappointed me, himself or his parents. So far his first semester he got student loans (he told me AFTER he'd done it). Then for this upcoming semester, he applied for (and received scholarship money). He knows I'm here to help if he needs it though.

Anyway, I'm totally off subject (sorry). I did check the guide and don't see ring coming up anytime soon. I spent at least 2 hours yesterday trying to set up the front door ring. It just stopped working! Never did get it up and going. My friend is due here any minute to help me with some 'purging'. You watch, she'll get it right in about 15 minutes. I did set the battery up and charged it all night (hopefully, that will help).

Take care. You know I often think if so many of these ladies lived near me, I know we'd have fun hanging out now and then (just laughing and talking). You, sweet girl, are one of those people I wish we could do a face to face.

I enjoy so much your posts. I like that we sometimes see things differently and I also like (with you....and others) we can agree to disagree. The country needs more of that.
