Opinion:

1. a belief or judgment that rests on grounds insufficient to produce complete certainty.
2. a personal view, attitude, or appraisal.
3. a judgment or estimate of a person or thing with respect to character, merit, etc.

By definition an individual's opinion is not right or wrong. At worst it is different from your opinion.

It appears that when it comes to the Paula Deen controversy too many are invested in their own opinion to the exclusion of even considering the validity of another posters opinion.

It is time to let this go before the boards are so splintered that future conversation is impossible without resentments from this subject bubbling to the surface and creating even more fracturing between personalities than already exists.

Let time and the courts settle the Paula Deen, et. al. matters. We really have more important and more interesting things to talk about and debate.

Is a truce possible? If not I fear Q has to be very close to turning this controversy over to Webbie's poof and ban buttons. Q has been very generous to let this rage for so long with little interference but their tolerance has to be coming to an end.
