Is Running Up The Score When You've Got It Won Poor Sportsmanship?

What was the point of running up the score when Seattle had it won? It just seemed poor sportsmanship to me. Am I wrong? It just seemed wrong to me.

yes, it is but i don't feel that this is the case with this game. one team played very well and the other didn't.

What would you have liked them to do, just stand there?

The better question would be, "what happened to Denver's offensive line?"

No.

Stats are everything in professional ball.

No. I don't care much for sports, but it is a contest and you are to do your best. Especially in college and professional sports, if you can score, you should.

When it comes to little kids playing, I think it is a little different, and I don't have much respect for coaches that kick the tar out of the other team just because they can. In that case, I think is is ok to win if you can, but baseball scores that come it 30 something to 3 are a little much for those young ones.

I'm looking forward to the commentary tomorrow. I don't think statistics matter when it's the last game of the season.

At what point do you think Seattle should have backed-off? Denver was the favored team by two points. Peyton & Co. could have come alive at any point, the fact that they didn't is not Seattle's fault. Play to win.
