I noticed that there at least four of us who started watching QVC when we were up with overnights feedings. Why not cater to that audience (and others who buy for children in their lives)? I see great gadgets for feeding, nursing, dressing and otherwise caring for kids.

One thing I'm really surprised about in all these discussions is how dismissive and condescending some posters are abut those of us awake during these hours. It seems like there is no understanding that people have different schedules and lifestyles.
NBC airs The Early Today Show at 3:30 am to catch early risers on the east coast. (Some affiliates do air it later.)
Then, Today in New York starts at 4 a.m. In the NYC metropolitan area many, many people are awake and getting ready for the day. I watch a bit of news and then frequently switched to HSN or QVC. I'm often on the subway by 5:30 and it is packed!
And yes, I would make purchases during the Clearance Shows.
Some posters should grasp that not everyone sleeps the hours they do or as deeply or soundly as they seem to.

I am mystified by the number of people that actually expect QVC to air live programming "to keep them company". QVC is in the business to sell things, not entertain. Those that make purchases regularly may have a complaint while those who just need something to watch can always find something on another channel. Apparently not enough people are actually buying to justify live programming.

I disagree slightly. I believe that their goal is to sell things, entertainingly. They frequently say so themselves during earnings conference calls.....engagement, discovery, story telling.....

I havent watched QVC in a few years-I go online and browse if I want something.
QVC is quickly becoming a dinosaur, boring programs, hosts and items. The magic of the likes of Lisa Robertson, Kathy Levine and the other well known hosts can not be replaced.
The days of TV shopping are gone.

@CrazyDaisy Youād think this would be an easy concept to grasp. Meanwhile, how many threads are there about this now? People really seem to believe that QVC didnāt take a great deal of time evaluating the numbers and scenarios to make sure this was the right decision. Apparently they just quickly pulled the plug with the singular intention of angering a bunch of insomniacs.

I absolutely hate the pre recordered shows. One of the main times I'm able to watch QVC is overnight. If you're going to pre-recorded shows especially the same one over and over again what's the point of watching? Maybe you're goal is to lose viewers. If so good job. Oh and I tried to call and complain to customer service person to answer the phone didn't even know what I was talking about. She had no clue QVC was no longer live at night. That to me says they genuinely don't care. I love that QVC has easy pay that does make affording things that are expensive a little easier but otherwise they don't have anything I can't find somewhere else.
