THE RED CROSS IS ONE OF THE WORST AGENCIES TO DONATE TO, go to charity navigator.org. The Salvation Army is usually the 1st on the scene and gets everything set up, then the Red Cross comes in and takes over and makes it look like they did everything. The Red Cross also has a huge overhead. They are well known, but that doesn’t make them good. Look at what their percentage of donations that go to the ones who need it and you’ll see.
