I'm in PA. It is not cold in the movies, restaurants here. No need for a cover-up,

@Biftu I don't know if I'd say the restaurants around here in the PNW are cold per se but some air conditioniing in some of the older restaurants is just darn cold especially when the restaurant is really crowded & they seat you under one of the air vents so in those instances it's nice to have a light sweater/wrap.

(Denim & Co, LOL) I have needed it many times and even though it's a bit wrinkled I don't care because there is nothing worse than freezing. Around my neighborhood, certain stores are known to be very cold, especially our Whole Foods. Restaurants vary, but like another poster stated the staff is running around working hard and I am sure they get quite warm, I don't blame them for keeping the temps cool.
Exactly. I know I'm the outlier when it comes to feeling cold. So I always have some type of cover up with me, in my tote.

The only place I usually feel cold is in the supermarket-usually in the cooler section.

I live in Central Florida and many of the restaurants here are freezing. I usually take a light weight sweater in with me.

I wear 100% cotton 3/4 length sleeves all summer long. I don't find many places too cold for me except for my own home.
DH makes it cold and if I sit down for a period of time, I grab a throw from the chair and wrap up.
I don't usually go to restaurants, but yes, I have been freezing in some of them and in the car as well.

@Rockycoast wrote:Another NorthEaster here. I do not find stores, restaurants, pubs, movie theaters cold at all. Do not need a sweater or jacket. I so dislike being hot. I will never move to the southern part of the country. The kids, hubby and I would go for a quick dip in the ocean in May here in Maine. So the affor mentioned establishments are fine with the AC on.
@Rockycoast funny i used to live in NH and would go in swimming in North Hampton in May. best time of year for waves. drove all the way back to Stratham w the heat going full blast.

I'm generally too warm, but a few places are always too cool for me-- the supermarket, our church, and one restaurant in particular. I picked up some light-weight, linen blend casual jackets, in almost a "bomber" shape, in different colors-- a white one, a tan, a blue, and a blush. I can throw them on even in the dead of summer when I go those places.
