OK, I already know the answer to this. However, I've noticed a theme that seems to be prevalent here. I see on TV everywhere yet another woman is missing! Now they are pretty sure (without saying so) that they strongly suspect someone very close to her murdered her. I cannot imagine the He*ll her family is going through. Here's my problem: Why is it that the media seems to go running with these stories only when they are Caucasian women and usually blonde and pretty? So....I'm wondering...are they the only women who go missing? What about African American women and children? What about Hispanic women and children? Think about it. When was the last time you saw all over the media a missing female black or Hispanic? I realize they can't report on every person who is missing. But get ready because we will see this woman's picture and her children on tv at least one time a day. All I would like to see is why not show women and children of other races. I posted here because (while I know that my question is a righteous question, I just wonder how many other women (I think most of you are females) notice this same thing. Good grief! I'm old and fat! I'd never get my picture on the missing! Anyway, just raise your hand and say yes or no (meaning you've noticed or haven't noticed). Sometimes I like to think things have changed and then I take notice on something like this and it disheartens me. I remember back when I think it was Natalie Holloway went missing Greta Van Sustern did several shows on African American women and children who are also missing. I guess something is better than nothing.
