Yes, I got a notice from UPS. The package was in Illinois. To my knowledge, there have been no disasters in that area. They are masters of imaginative excuses so maybe it translates to "we're really busy".

@brandiwine - Now that's funny. I have NO problems getting my items from QVC, but every other item I order from Amazon ends up delayed, delayed again and delayed again. Two day free with Prime? HAH. Rarely happens for me. One took almost a month and every time I tried to cancel after getting a delayed delivery/shipping notice from Amazon I'd get an email back saying it couldn't be cancelled because it was being shipped.
I'm so fed up with Amazon that I'm not renewing my Prime account. They've NEVER EVER offered any consideration for their multiple failures.

WHy do people insist on blaming the product vendors (QVC, Amazon) for delivery delays that are out of their hands? ONce your package is picked up by the shipper it is under the control of the delivery service not the vendor.

Yes, I recieved the same message also, several days in a row, due to operating difficulties my shipment was delayed and they couldn't give a delivery date at this time.
Mine is coming from King Arthur Flour company and is showing shipping from Kansas.

One if my Amazon orders was delayed by a day. And I placed an order with LLBean, and received an email that they were experiencing delays. This isn't a Christmas item, so that's fine.
I had one return to QVC, and it was processed in record time!
A lot of people complain that businesses push Christmas too early. But online businesses, especially, need to start early. They couldn't possibly do all of their holiday business in the few weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

AMAZing difference isn't it? Or from Nordies or NM for makeup--and free shipping!
Yesterday the UPS truck stopped in front of our house and a big white box truck was backed up to it in the street offloading more packages to the UPS truck. I NEVER saw that before!

With all the storms, fires, etc in the US, there are delivery delays. No one, not Q or any retailer, can guarantee a delivery date when packages have to go through major shipping hubs suffering from bad weather or disasters.
I had 2 items from another retailer take an extra 2 days since they had to go through the SE.
Speaking of which...my annual rant.... Order now if something is needed for Christmas. People who waits shouldn't complain when their packages don't arrive on time. It's not like we didn't know when the holidays were coming.

Yep, I just got that same notice this morning for one of my Q packages. The package had made it to Hodgins Illinois, then the same delay message. It's one of those SurePost thingies that go through UPS to the post office. Mine is food, so I sure hope it's not delayed too long!

One of my Amazon packages is MIA.
ALL day yesterday when I checked the status, it showed "out for delivery", by UPS.
At 9:30 last night the status changed to "package received by carrier".
This morning it says "expected by Dec. 6th. If it hasn't arrived by Dec. 7th, contact us".
This morning I'm going to head out and try to find up a backup replacement. It's a gift (and no longer available on Amazon) so if I can find one locally, I'll get it and then return it if the Amazon package shows up. Problem is I got a terrific price on Amazon. I don't think I'll find that locally.
I've had several Amazon packages delayed lately, over the past month or so, which is very unusual for them. But, until now, I've never had one say out for delivery and then not arrive.

If you are talking about QVC can't say, but my recent orders that were labeled surepost, have been delivered by UPS anyway.
