I didn't really want to read this thread, because I hate trying to figure out abbreviations! If you're alredy on a site that uses them....I get that. But to assume that everyone else knows what you mean....no, they don't!

Thanks...when no one on the thread mentions it, I'm hesitant to bring it up.

I've gotten slammed on this board in the past, for not knowing what a lot of abbreviations meant.

The same has happened when someone has called a host by his/her first name only, and expected everyone else to know who that person is.

Hi, Colliemom, this particular thread was not directed at anyone In particular,,,,I actually get more annoyed by local people......making comments like "Great things are happening at MUMC,........I figure out it is a church somewhere and might want to visit, but I have no idea which one it is,lol...laugh out loud..
