Yes, DH and I are probably going with my children/grandchildren to see it Sunday. My oldest granddaughter saw the play/show and loved it. I cant wait!

I really want to see it. The trailers look intriguing. I'm also looking forward to the TV mini series Galavant. I am a big King Arthur lit fan, and Monty Python's HOly Grail is one of my favorites, so this spoof with its all star cast looks like fun.

Just got home from the show - I enjoyed it a lot and thought everyone did a great job. My LEAST favorite was Meryl Streep, but she was good. I saw some changes from the show, but they were OK, in my opinion. LOVED the princes!!!

I agree with everything you say. Agony was soooo funny! Haha.

I was unimpressed by Meryl Streep. I didn't really think they needed to add the "blue moon" thing - I also didn't think her transformation was as gasp-worthy as it should have been.

I noticed a few songs were taken out and lyrics changed. There was no "mysterious old man" or Cinderella's father.

I thought Anna Kendrick could've had some better acting skills. I LOVED Jack. Smiley Happy

Which song from J & H was it?

I'll bet it was "Bring on the Men"! Yes? Linda Eder was amazing in the role of Lucy, but the show really lost some of it's punch by the time it went to Broadway.

We have been to 7 of her traveling shows and early on she said that she & Frank fought hard to retain that song, and the audience exploded with applause. After they divorced she lost that sone, but since they are working together again, it may show up again. I have the original cast recording which was done before B'way, and Love it so much more.

You've got it. It was edgy, funny, and just a great song. That original concept album by Linda Eder and Colm Wilkinson gets a lot of playtime for me. They have two amazing voices. I've got pretty much every CD Linda Eder's ever released and I have a Linda Eder channel on Pandora. She's a favorite of mine. She's one of those singers you thought would be a massive star and while she had a brief flare up in popularity she never exploded like many of us thought she would. When you listen to much of what passes for music these days and then you hear her voice, you wonder why she never really made it big, but that's the way things go it seems. With Christmas now over I'll be getting back to more of my regular music again and Linda Eder will be one of the first singers I'll be listening to. (Her Christmas album also got a lot of playtime though.)
