They make more money then I thought they did but still not enough for doing a stinky job. I bet they don't make that much money picking up trash here. I could not imagine standing on the back of a trash truck all day smelling the stink. It's a good thing there are people out there willing to do the nasty job. 

Our trash cans are large with lids all one piece. You can only put bagged trash in it so trash is not blowing through the neighborhood if yours gets knocked over over blown over from the wind.

The trash truck only has a driver that uses an arm on the truck that picks up the cans. He never has to get out of the truck.
