Antarctica. 🐧

Funny, husbands godson just posted tons of pics of him and his friends in Antarctica for New Years. My sister also went there 2 years ago. They all loved it.

@proudlyfromNJ

I'd love to go, but I read that tourists are bringing micro organisms  that are devastating some indigenous life.

@OKPrincess

I certainly would not go to North Korea the way it is now, but never is a long time!

My list of "nevers" is quite long.

No interest in anywhere in Asia or South America, or anywhere Far East.

Actually ... there are only three countries on my "go" list:  Ireland, Germany, and Italy.

[ Edited ]

I have travelled or lived in close to 80 countries and there are few no go or never again countries.  No N.Korea (but lived in and loved S.Korea) no dictatorships and no Aruba (no culture and too American to pay a lot to fly there and be bored again).

Again, I totally agree, having lived there a long time ago, would NEVER go back.  Maybe it is the Michigan in us that we feel this way???

Spain - lived there for 2 years very different when you are not a tourist.  Would never go back.

North Korea is a given. I have no desire to travel to Near and Middle East countries.

I have a wealthy, elderly (over 80) friend who is a member of a club whose members have an annual contest to see who can get the most passport stamps.  She's been to Antarctica numerous (the last I knew 3) times.

I would not go to Russia.  Refuse to put any of my money in their coffers.

Russia, for more reasons than I can list here.
