how do you reheat your coffee
We have a microwave but don't use it anymore. (DH felt it just wasn't healthy and he's battling health issues). Ours is built in and sits over the stove. I use it for storage.
I make tea using a teapot on the stove and coffee using a one cup cappuccino maker. If I really need to reheat something I'll use the stovetop or my Beville toaster oven.
I'm intrigued by this Instant Pot!

I think stuff like this sells a lot, though, so more power to them.
If I was going to use a pressure cooker again (I have a couple somewhere but haven't used them for over 10 years), I would just purchase a good brand pressure cooker.
For everything else, any one of the normal pots or pans everybody has in their kitchen already will do the job perfectly.
Instant Pot is a good brand of pressure cooker
I have been using it for soup, boiled egg, sauce and will do my mashed potatoes this week
I don't use the LeCreuset or other stuff much anymore
@jackthebear @chickenbutt I agree, Instant Pot is probably among the top name brands for pressure cookers. Pressure cookers today are far different than the pressure cookers I used once or twice, then put away and forgot about, when I was younger. Like it or not, most do have settings that allow them to replace other pre-programmed cooking gadgets. But I just make my settings manually based on the info in the instructions. Or I look up info online. On the other hand, why shouldn't they offer pre-programmed options for those who feel more comfortable just pressing a button?
I can cook rice in a pot on the stove. Seldom have a problem. Same with beans, pot roast, ribs, etc. I've cooked all my life. But I love being able to do any sauteing or browning required, throw in the rest of the ingredients, close the lid, set the timer and walk away. Automatically switches to "warm" after it's done, so I can let it sit till I'm ready, even if it's an hour or two later. Great results every time, even cooking pasta complete with sauce (which some sources don't even recommend because it's so easy to overcook the pasta). I'm not trusting enough to leave ANY appliance on while I'm away from home, but it's definitely not like the old, stove-top ones that you had to stay near by and monitor so too much pressure wasn't built up.
I've slowly been purchasing accesories. Do I need the egg racks? Nope, but they support the eggs wonderfully...and a dozen perfect hard-boiled eggs the first time. Earlier I bought the silicone lid, making it easy to put the leftovers in the fridge and the glass lid (tho a lid for and pot the same size would work). I think next up are the pans yoiu can use for cakes and a set of yogurt containers.
While I do use mine for soups that include a lot of vegetables, I still tend to steam plain veggies in the microwave.

tchen already will do the job perfectly.
one of the things that I like is the ability to not have to watch the pot while it's cooking.
oh and I have the double layer hard boiled egg rack on my christmas list from amazon you can do 12? eggs, was thinking about that silicon lid cover too .
Funny thing is, I never even thought about a pressure cooker until I saw it on the Q, and looked at them
We didn't like the non-stick that the Q offered and I ended up with the IP. Which I think is a better product anyway

there was a small learning curve, but a few google searches helped, and if you are an experienced cook you can figure it out
eta: we really just use our microw for reheating coffee and tea

@jackthebear How I ended up with an Instant Pot is a bit different. A few years ago I had a co-worker who swore by using a pressure cooker. Nope, not me. Tried them years before and thought they were a pain. After I retired, I got in a "lets buy things for the kitchen" mode. They had one on Evine as a special and I thought why not? I quickly became hooked. Then I dented the pot and wasn't able to get a replacement from the manufacturer. It appeared that pot were at least somewhat brand specific, so I wasn't comfortable just randomly ordering one. But I was missing my pressure cooker. So when Amazon had a Black Friday special, I jumped. It was already on my radar because of the stainless steel pot. Bonus is that the pot actually fit in my old pressure cooker.
I don't know if you've already figured it out, but Amazon changes prices ALL the time. I have a huge list of things "saved for later" part of the cart. It started out so I could easily find things I buy frequently, But it rather quickly morphed into a way to watch for price decreases on items I wanted to purchase at some point. Some items never change price. Some may change back and forth by only a few cents. But every once in a while there's a nice drop in price.
Then there's the random pre-BF discounts they've been offering all month. The reason I finally purchased the glass lid a couple of weeks ago is that it showed up as one of there early BF specials. I also snagged a second pot not too long ago when the price dropped significantly for a few hours. Maybe my biggest discount was a set of folding chairs I'd had in my "saved for later" list for months. I managed to snag them for just over $52. They're typicall in the $80-90 range. And I've seen them as high as $120+.
And, yes, the double layer egg rack does hold a dozen eggs at a time. And the silicone lid does what it is supposed to do...cover the pot. But keep in mind that it's basically a thick pick of silicone with rolled edges. It's really easy for it to flex and end up in the pot. Definitely no weight on top of it. On the plus side, no raised handle getting caught on the shelf above it and doesn't rip like foil.

Years ago, someone gave me a small-ish type of instant pot. It looks more like a small percolator. It's still in it's box. I didn't know exactly how and what to use it (for). I'll have to find it and take a better look. As I recall, it didn't have any recipes or suggestions, etc.

@jackthebear Thanks! I've heard of "camel...", but never checked it out. I guess I figure I don't need yet another company tracking me.
