I received an Instacart order yesterday morning. I've used it for years, starting when I became a caregiver for my Mom. I cancelled my membership when I started going to the store more. They kept sending me $20 off promos to get me back. And they had waived the service fee for a while, I believe they allowed the customer to waive it.

Obviously they're not lacking business now.Yesterday I couldn't get any sugar I had ordered, obviously no toilet paper, no paper towels. No potato chips either. Any comfort food is flying off the shelves. 

I asked her in the chat if the store had any milk. She said no, so I was thrilled that it was delivered in my order. Lowfat as I had ordered. And I did get chocolate ice cream.

I just had a instacart delivered on Saturday.  The shopper informed me of all the things that were not available and suggested other items.  She was great and even had the employees check in the back refrigerators that she could not find (brussel sprouts LOL).  I have used them for a number of years and have always been pleased.  One thing I did differently is that I placed some bills under my doormat for her tip.  I texted her that they were there, but I could not guarantee their germ-free condition (we are not sick) but wanted her to be aware where she could take any precautions she wished.  Her thank you was priceless.  Nomally I add a tip but wanted it to be her in hands immediately for my gratitude to her for shopping for the Hoovermom family.  Love instacart.

I just placed my first order and it is supposed to be delivered this afternoon. I have no idea what I will actually get, as I am sure most items are not available. Curious to see what substitutions are made on the items I agreed to substitution on. 

My Mom used them Monday of this week and was delighted to open the door and find our dentist office manager was the instacart shopper! Our dentist has shut down temporarily, except for emergencies. It really gave my Mom piece of mind when she saw the delivery person was someone we have known for years. 

Can't wait to see who delivers mine!
