Instacart and Costco -- I Just Talked To Costco

When an Instacart order is placed, the Ins. person has to pull up the member's membership number and scan it to fill the order.

 

The man I spoke with who is a manager of the local warehouse said  that you DO need to be a member to use Instacart. Hope this helps.

As a Costco member I am glad to hear this. I feel for everyone, but it would be unfair to paying members to allow nonmembers to be able to get the same benefits.
