Insomnia and the host, Stacey Rusch

[ Edited ]

Last night was one of those all too often nights falling asleep and then waking up 4 hours later in the wee hours of the morning fully awake.

So, I grab for the remote and start channeling through and stop on QVC.  (Can't remember if it was Q2 or regular Q.)    A host I've never seen before was presenting fashion items.  Her name is Stacey Rusch.  Not only is she pretty with a lovely speaking voice, but she did a wonderful job presenting the fashions.  She was very natural and confident speaking and describing the items in detail.

Prior to posting this, I decided to look at her bio on Meet the Hosts.  It seems she worked for Susan Graver in the past, if I'm reading and interpreting that correctly.  I don't seem to remember her with SG.

Just wanted to say that I think she's lovely and doing a wonderful job.

I think Stacey was on regular Q and I watched it for a bit.

I too think she does a great job and is stunning.

I don't know if she does any of the beauty shows, but if not, she should.

I have watched her many times before. I think she is great too. She has a beautiful figure, so everything looks good on her. She describes everything well. And there is no silliness or constant family talk or references. She is much better than some of the hosts that have been there forever.

She is a lovely host. She did work for SG at one time. I think she left when she was pregnant. She always looks stunning, always prepared; she always gives out all the info. When she does make a mistake as we all do, she is very apologetic. I seem to watch her the most. I enjoy her Wed show on Q2 & PM Style.

She's incredibly poised and comfortable in front of the camera.

I recall one night she noted that she represented Susan Graver on QVC Germany for a time and speaks fluent German.

I've never seen her.  Is she on the main channel?  Sounds like a good replacement for some hosts that seem to be on constantly especially at night.

@They Call Me MR Wilkes  Yes, Stacey speaks fluent German.  Her extended family is German as her husband is German.

I like Stacey, too. Vanessa Herring is another host that I like. Neither of them has a frenetic presentation style which now seems to be prevalent in many of the other presentations on QVC. Both Stacey and Vanessa are calm and focused. Their emphasis is on the product instead of themselves. I certainly wish they both were on QVC prime time more often.

Stacy, Steve and Nancy began together one year ago. Stacy and Steve are very comfortable in front of the camera, have become excellent hosts quickly, and found their nitches at QVC quickly due to their pleasant personalities. Both are outgoing, ambitious, prepared, kind, humble, and have worked hard in their previous positions as preparation for the move to QVC. Stacy and Steve have become two of the best hosts we've seen in a very long time at QVC!
